Sue Watkins

Sue Watkins moved back to her hometown of Willoughby, Ohio from Los Angeles, California in 2004 and she has been providing basketball instruction to boys and girls of all ages and all levels of experience since that time.  She holds a B.A. degree from Denison University/Granville, Ohio in Physical Education and Health, where she also earned a teaching credential.

Sue played point guard all four years for the Denison women’s basketball team and played in four straight state tournaments for the Denison Big Red.  She was a two-sport athlete at Denison, also playing on the women’s tennis team.  During her collegiate summer breaks, Sue won back-to-back state softball championships, playing shortstop on her Class A women’s softball team.  Sue attended Willoughby South High School and is a member of the South Rebels Athletic Hall of Fame.

For Sue, working with youth is her passion and basketball is her favorite sport. As she says, “When you were taught by the best and then follow your passion, hard work is fun and very good things begin to happen!”
